Monica De La Cruz to Address the Nation from the 2024 Republican National Convention

McAllen, TX – July 13, 2024 – Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz (TX-15) will deliver a nationally televised address at the 2024 Republican National Convention, joining a distinguished lineup of speakers to nominate Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States.

In her statement, Congresswoman De La Cruz expressed her profound honor and gratitude for this opportunity:

“My grandparents came to this country from Mexico to work hard and raise their family in freedom. Never in their wildest dreams did they imagine that their granddaughter would one day have the opportunity to address the nation at the Republican National Convention. It is truly the honor of a lifetime and my story is the American Dream come true. Unfortunately, Joe Biden’s administration has turned the American Dream into a nightmare for countless families with his reckless open border and inflationary economic policies. Enough is enough. I look forward to making the case for why we need President Donald Trump to fix our economy and restore law and order at the southern border.”

Congresswoman De La Cruz, representing South Texas, has been a vocal advocate for the American Dream, border security, and seniors’ benefits during her time in the House. Her story of perseverance and dedication reflects the aspirations of many American families who seek opportunity, freedom, and law and order.

The congresswoman’s speech will highlight critical issues facing the country, such as the crisis on our southern border, and the need to re-elect President Trump to address them.
